Today I'll be talking and exploring the intricate web of relationshipsthat shape our world. I diving into the power of connections—the threads that bind us together, from the people we meet, to the ideas we share. Whether it’s the personal connections that enrich our lives or the professional ones that propel us forward, we’ll be exploring how these relationships impact who we are and where we’re going. 

Lean and listen and allow me to start weaving the story of how connections make all the difference.

What's up, my beautiful people? Here we are again on another episode. And thank you for some of the lovely comments people have been writing in to say anxiety as well. You know, I've already said about introversion, introversion, but if you've got anxiety and connecting is quite difficult, and I remember.

Somebody saying to me when we're on holiday, you're so good at talking to people and blah, blah blah blah.

And I would go and get what we needed. And she said I can't do that. I'm a lot more shy or sit back and whatever. And I get that and everybody's different and but that can be a barrier to connection, which is fine and also past experience and trauma affect connection building. And it's worth thinking about your biggest challenges in forming deep connections. Mine sometimes has just been about laziness.

I'm very confident when I go out and form connections.

And whatever. What I don't do sometimes, like the other day, I walked into this shop. It was 2 days ago. The woman started speaking to me. She said I love your energy. We started talking and she said, oh, you want Instagram? I said yes. She gave me a card. She'll reach her. I threw the card away when I got home. Not interested, not interested at all. Laziness. Does it do anything for me? Do I need another person to connect to on Instagram?

Really. So that was that. And I think that's where the connections that we have already we can strengthen and nurture the power of active listening and.

Empathy setting boundaries while maintaining sort of the closeness and the role of shared experiences and rituals in bonding. So I challenge you to reach out to one person that you may have lost touch with and maybe share something meaningful. It's not just about how are you share something and see what happens. And so finally, think about what has been.

You're unexpected in life changing connection.

And what is 1 connection you'd like to strengthen today? And so I'm going to leave you with those thoughts and hopefully this has been of some interest and I'll be back for more. And while I'm recording this, I'm looking at a totally blue sky. It's going to be quite warm for the UK. It's warmish. And I'm considering whether I go out on my bike or just Potter around before I go out this evening.

Tomorrow. I can't wait, but this will land on Monday, so I would have done the car boot sale so I may talk about that next time or I may not. But have a beautiful rest of whenever you're listening to this after that and take care of yourself and think about those blasted connections that you have in your life.
